We feel that Kindergarten is the perfect year to practice having responsibilities and build independence. Your child will have a short assignment each week. The homework will be assigned on Wednesdays and will be sent home with the Wednesday folder. Students are to return their homework in their homework folder the following MONDAY.
Mystery Bags: Please check our website each week to find out which letter has "visited" our classroom! You and your child will need to find a small object around your house that begins with our "letter of the week". Please sit with your child and help your child to come up with THREE clues about their mystery object. Help your child write the 3 clues on ONE index card. Place the object and index card of clues in a non see-through bag and bring it to school the next day. Please do not do this activity for your child. This activity is rich with learning opportunities. Please allow your child to do as much as he can independently with your aide and encouragement at his side.
